What began as a bedtime story told to cousins, nephews and nieces under the starlit sky over the mud terrace of her native village, has now turned into the very essence of her being. Rajyalakshmi carries a lifetime of experience in storytelling, and children are the true joy of her work.
She dreams to transport souls of all ages to the land of tales and fantasies. When she puts on her hat, Story Aunty transforms into many characters, engulfing the children's joy and curiosity — one world at a time.
After twenty years of not only sharing stories but also collecting them, Rajyalakshmi seeks to continue spreading her exciting tales while always improving her craft. Her home of bedtime stories is now a walking roof that hovers over all the children she spreads her world to.
